Provincial Nominee Program
According to the Canadian Constitution, the federal and provincial governments jointly manage the immigration method to attract overseas talents, referred to as provincial nomination.
Different provinces in Canada can formulate different immigration policies according to the type of talents needed by the province. The federal government decides whether the applicant nominated by the province is eligible for Canadian permanent resident status.
