Applicants will become permanent residents of Canada after immigrating to Canada. Permanent residents are different from Canadian citizens. Permanent residents cannot enjoy political voting rights, specific government positions, and apply for Canadian passports.  The rest The rights of a Canadian citizen are basically the same as those of a Canadian citizen. • Applicants must be permanent residents of Canada

• Must have lived in Canada for three years out of five years, with no less than 1095 days in Canada

• Applicants must have three years of tax returns before applying for citizenship.

• Applicants aged 18-54 must pass a test in English or French

• No criminal record
